#about me

Hello!

I am a philosopher of science at the Institute for Science in Society at Radboud University Nijmegen (Netherlands) specialising in epistemic practices in the social and life sciences. I am also guest researcher at the Centre for Ethics and Law in the Life Science at Leibniz University Hannover (Germany) and research associate at the African Centre for Epistemology and Philosophy of Science at University of Johannesburg (South Africa).

My current research focuses on epistemic pluralism in evidence-based policy and on questions at the intersection of philosophy of biomedicine, ethics and social studies of science. For instance, I seek to better understand the potential and limitations of new developments in precision medicine and animal-based research in biomedicine, using an approach that is sensitive to the entanglement of conceptual, practical and societal issues.

I am also currently thinking about how best to advance the research programme of a comparative philosophy of science.
